OUR COTTON
The cotton that we paint on or dye with natural pigments comes from a farming cooperative based in Uganda and Kyrgyzstan, where it grows endemically and it is bought at fair trade prices. Our provider cooperates with an NGO that recovers the traditional knowledge original to the area lost after a civil war, training more than 12,500 workers. In addition, cotton processing occurs in Europe and complies with all GOTS and IVN regulations.
We also use pure wild silk and linen, without a mixture of threads so that they can be completely recycled.
Our wadding comes from recycled bottles collected from the ocean.
Our 100% cotton bag suppliers work with at risk women in Spain and all our packaging is made from recycled materials and can be re-recycled.
The hats are sewed in the north of Spain by highly qualified professionals who receive a fair wage. We work in proximity to our vendors in order to promote local companies and reduce emissions from transport.
We seek to work hand-in-hand with all of our suppliers to optimize processes as much as possible and make sure we leave the least possible impact on the environment.
